Learn how management tasks link to NVQ standards

The MCI Good Manager's Guide helps you develop your managerial skills and knowledge while you are doing your job. It achieves this by providing checklists for every management task you are ever likely to have to do.

Management Standards have been developed by the MCI (Management Charter Initiative). National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs) and Scottish Vocational Qualifications (SVQs) are certificates of competence in a job. They are available to anyone who can prove they are competent in all the units of the appropriate set of occupational standards. The MCI Good Manager's Guide relates each of its checklists to these Management Standards.
